Friday Favorite...

I am a shoe girl and I saw these cuties and just had to have them!

How cute would they be at Christmas?! : )

I wanted something cute and fun to dress up an outfit I was wearing. and I thought these were perfect!!

Normally, I'm a bit of a plain jane but I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone a bit these days and liven my wardrobe up!

Hmmm....I think I just might need to get them in the gray too!

cute, cute, cute!

Happy Friday! : )

More Pottery Barn looks at a fraction of the cost. . .

I was just reading Susie's blog about her finding some fab lanterns at Walmart that look just like PB's, and that were a fraction of the cost.

So, I thought I would post a few things I found that I love from Pottery Barn that I have found at JC Penney for a fraction of the cost!

I'm lovin' the pharmacy lamps out there right now.

Here is PB's version for $139.

Here is one at JC Penney that I think I like even more, for $49.99!

A really cool mirror at PB for $299.99.

>

A mirror almost exactly like it, at JCP for $179.99!

Pottery Barn leaning shelf $299.99

JCP's version for $119.00!

See, if you do a little bit of research you can most likely find the Pottery Barn look you are going for, without the Pottery Barn price!

Caa-ute baby gift!

Two posts in one day! WOOT!

Anyhow, I just had to share my recent purchase for baby gifts.

I am one of those people that always wants to get the *perfect* gift and I TOTALLY always over think it.

Anyway, I came across Trumpette socks in a local boutique and just fell in love with them!

I love that they are something a bit different but totally useful as well.
I happen to think they are super cute too!

For Sam:

For Lucy:

For Quinn:

Just thought this were to cute not to share.

Oh and girls be on the lookout for your goods! :)

Doing a little bit of Spring redecorating. . .

here at The Huntley Home!

I just got a new pretty Hyrdrangea wreath for my front door and I LOVE it!

I love Hydrangeas!

I do wish it was just a tad bigger but it's a nice change from the pine cone winter wreath that adorned it before. My batteries are dead in my camera so pics will come soon!

Also, Jeff and I did a little furniture rehabbing this past weekend! We painted the bench and rocker that reside on our front porch black. They were previously white and DIRTY, so the black is a nice change of pace.

I am thinking about getting these pillows to go with them?

I thought the colors would be a nice contrast to the black.

I was thinking of a cushion for my rocker and two pillows for my bench?

Whatcha think?

Yay or nay?

Well, I asked. . .

and the landlord said no to paint. :(

I was bummed but it's ok, I am just gonna plaster the walls with lots of fun artwork to brighten it up. Maddie is quite the little artist and I would love to have some of stuff framed and matted.

On another note, we did find a cute little fixer upper that is a foreclosure 2 doors down from our current home that is MUCH larger and is more updated. So, we are gonna check into it and see if it's a possibility.

Honestly, I am soo thankful for our little home, paneling and all! :)

These economic times are a bit scary and I am truly, truly fortunate for our home, jobs and good health.

Anywho, I currently have a $250 Gift card to Target that is burning a whole in my pocket and I can't quite make up my mind as to what I wanna splurge on.

This is what I am thinking about getting because my kitchen table is currently where my computer resides.

Whatcha think?

Since my computer is in my living room, I want something simple but pretty.

Plus, it would be nice to actually be able to eat dinner on kitchen table again! :)

A few pretties from Pier One. . .

I had the day off yesterday so I decided to enjoy the nice weather and do a little window shopping.

First on my excursion was Pier One.

Oh, how I LOVE that place. I have always loved Pier One, in fact when I was in college my first ever credit card was to Pier One and I didn't even have my own place at that time! :)

I saw several things I would have loved to get but alas I did not.

But, I did buy this rug yesterday. I have her in my entry way for now and she looks quite lovely there.

Here are a few things, I added to my wish list.

How pretty would this be for Easter? Love it!

Really, really want these for my Kitchen! Love the bright colors!

LOVED this!

Loved this accent rug for my living room and it would be just the right size and price.

Thought this would be pretty in our hallway.

I also just love this chair! How bright and cheery, is it?! I love poppies!

I could seriously go on and on. I have a TON of things saved for my wish list.

*Sigh*-if only money grew on trees!

Better Homes and Gardens. . .

Have y'all seen their line of stuff at Wal-mart? OMGOSH, it's super cute AND affordable!

Doesn't get much better than that, does it?

I saw these curtains and just had to have them and better yet there were only $15 per panel and they are made really well.

I got a cute new artichoke rod and some ring clips and went to town. They really brightened my living room up!

I am actually thinking of calling my landlord and asking him to let me paint.

That would make such a HUGE difference, I bet.

I really want to brighten the place up until we can get something of our own.

Anyhow, if y'all haven't seen the stuff you should check it out online. Super cute stuff!

Here are a few things that caught my eye...

Spring is on the horizon. . .

And I couldn't be more thrilled! I am so ready to open up my windows and let the breeze in and air out my home. I am so ready for flip flops and capris!

I was checking out the new Boden stuff and loved these outfits...

So cute, right? How cute would one of these be for Easter?!
