New Haircut...

I have been in DESPERATE need for a haircut for a while and finally got it cut on Saturday.
The stylist massaged my scalp while she was washing it. Then, she put some sort of warm wrap around my neck that smelled like eucalyptus and it was AWESOME! It was absolute BLISS. Definitely well worth the $35.
She did an AMAZING job and I will definitely be back to see her soon.
I told Jeff I was going to "reward" myself with little trips there for various things. You know, a massage here, a wax there. Sounds good to me! :)

The pic above is how I got my hair cut. I LOVE the cut and even bought myself a CHI to style it. WOOT! I will have to take pics in the next day or so to post. Having a cute cut definitey makes doing my hair worthwhile. Now, only if I looked like Jessica Simpson. :)

Saving my pennies....

For one of these!

Yes, I do realize I am 30 yrs old. I don't care, I reealllly want a Wii! LMBO

My dh thinks I am nuts but that's because he has never played one. Well, at least that's what I tell him. :)

I am not into the whole video game thing but I played this once and I was and am hooked now. Besides, it can be classified as exercise...right! See, and we all need to exercise.

Are you convinced yet that I really need one of these? LOL

So in the interim I am saving my pennies and convincing my dh that I need one.

We shall see what happens!

A New Start...

For Jeff and I. We had a long heart to heart this past weekend and decided we needed to make some major changes in our lives. Seriously, in every aspect of our lives. Don't get me wrong, we are very blessed but we both decided that things are not good the way they are. We both are not happy about the way we look physically, our home needs a MAJOR overhaul and our finances definitely need some shaping up.

So, we are taking the steps to get ourselves TOGETHER in EVERY WAY! It's not gonna be easy, but they way I look at it is "If you always do what you've done, then you will always have what you've got." Hmmm...and that ain't working for us!

I am soo bad about being scatterbrained that I will start one project and go to the next, I can no longer do this. I figure I start ONE thing and follow through and everything else will follow. So, wish me (us) luck on our NEW START! :)

Career Day

Maddie had her yearly career day at school this wk.

After a lot of careful thought she decided to be an Artist. So, she donned her art smock and jeans to school. She was pretty cute, I must say. :)

It cracks me up though, because in Kindergarten she was a "Rockstar", 1st grade she was a "Cowgirl" and this year an "Artist".

Gotta give her credit, she's a creative one!
